Message there, it's always been "Orange County" - as in: "I live in Orange County", or "I'm from Orange County". The last thing I want to see is my home area taking on a name from a screwed up TV show that is so far from reality that it's not even funny. Please don't degrade this region by applying such a contrived name. Does anyone remember when Orange County went bankrupt in the mid-90's because the tax collector (Robert Citron) made bad investments with the tax revenues? I think "The OC" is a worse reference than "The Bankrupt County".
